How much will it cost to repair my _______ ?

-
Electronics Repairs:

-
Estimate Fee: $100 per device for all electronics repairs.

-
Shop Minimum: $150 - No electronics repair can be done for less than $150.

-
Guitar Repairs: No Estimate Fee; No Minimums

Please note that the estimate fee is for us to provide you with an estimate on how much it will cost for us to repair your device - and not always an exact diagnosis of what is wrong with your device. - There are many cases where it takes a significant amount of time to disassemble and test your device and we factor this into your estimate.
The estimate fee is considered a deposit which is applied to the final cost of the repair if you choose to accept the estimate.
The estimate fee is non-refundable if you feel the total cost of the repair is too high / not worth it to you.
If you do not want to proceed with the repair, we ask that you pickup your device within 30 days. We offer free e-cycling of your device if you would prefer not to pick it up. - Any devices left more than 30 days will be e-cycled.

Can you tell me if it’s worth me bringing it in and paying the estimate fee?

If you are debating whether or not it’s worth it to pay the $100 estimate fee for us to evaluate your device, then your device is not worth repairing.

How long will it take to repair my device?
Repair time depends heavily on the issue but our typical turnaround time is 1-2 weeks. If your device has a simple issue it may only take 1-2 days. If your device has a more complex/intermittent issue it may take 1-2 months or more.
We always aim to have your device repaired as soon as possible - so that you can come pick it up and pay us as soon as possible!

Do you offer ‘rush’ services?
Rush services are available only for guitar repair work. Rush fees are determined on a case-by-case basis by our guitar tech relative to their current queue.

Do you also work on ________?
We do not repair household appliances, video equipment, computers, phones, tablets, drones, e-bikes, or any other device that is not related to audio electronics.
We recommend you take these items to the DC Public Library's FREE Monthly Community Repair Clinic - "Fix-It DC": https://doee.dc.gov/service/fix-it
